| Sacraments - Marriage |
| If you are thinking of getting married in the Catholic Church, please speak to your parish priest as soon as possible. There are 15-20 weddings evey year in Saint Helen's, so to ensure you are able to have your preferred date, please try to contact the church around a year before your wedding. |
| The Church recommends that couples undergo a course of preparation before marriage. In 2009 a new marriage preparation course will begin in the Archdiocese of Glasgow and couples preparing for marriage in Saint Helen's will be invited to take part. |
| If you are planning to get married abroad, please allow a little extra time for preparation since paperwork has to be exchanged between our own Archdiocese and the place in which you are getting married. |
