| Sacraments - Baptism |
| Baptisms for infants are normally celebrated at Saint Helen's on Sundays after the 12.30 pm Mass. Sometimes the Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated during one of the Masses. |
| Baptism for older children and adults would normally take place once a year at the Easter Vigil. (click here to find out more). |
| If you would like to arrange to have your child baptised, please contact Father Paul who will meet with you to arrange a date and discuss the responsibilities involved in asking to have your child baptised. |
| A child would normally have two Godparents, who must be practicing Catholics. A person of another Christian denomination can be invited, alongside a Catholic Godparent, to be a 'Christian Witness'. |
