Parish Pastoral Council
The Parish Council has a special concern for ensuring that the structures and organisation of the parish properly serve the goals which are set out on the front page of this leaflet. In the year to come the Council will have a particular concern for the .New Evangelisation. and the celebration of the Year of Faith.

Passkeepers
Often the first face you see on entering St Helen's is the pass-keeper. We are there to welcome everyone to Saint Helen's and assist them any way we can. We always need more people to help: no qualifications required except a willingness to help - and a sense of humour! Training is provided.

Church cleaners
Church cleaners spend about one hour a week tidying and cleaning the various parts of then church. No special qualifications are needed, just willing people happy to work in a team: Wednesday evenings or Saturday mornings: come along then or call.

The Church Stall
The church stall (open weekdays in the church and in the hall on Sunday's after 11.00 and 12.30 masses) has cards for all occasions, First Communion, Confirmation Cards, etc., a good variety of religious objects and a few books/pamphlets, all at very competitive prices. Moreover, if there is something you would like, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you. We would welcome new people to our group to hold the fort for an hour or two.

Communication
We are currently seeking people with computer skills who would be willing to be part of a rota preparing materials, updating the parish website and using electronic means to keep in touch with parishioners.
